The FLUSHIES
Off The Grid Greenville's Bathroom Superlatives
Welcome to the first annual Off The Grid Bathroom Superlatives.
The "Flushies" may not be displayed in a trophy case or on a fireplace mantel, but this collection of restrooms will make all of our lives easier.

“Most Yellow Bathroom”
Don’t miss the city’s newest public restroom off the One City Plaza behind Mast General Store. It’s sparkling clean, super convenient and has awesome yellow doors and countertops. You can't miss it!
“Best Place to Wait for a Friend”
The fine folks at Noma Square have outdone themselves with their elegant modern waiting area just outside of Studio 220, Gallery A. Wait for your friends to freshen up in one of these stylish Barcelona chairs.
Most Opulent “Members-Only” Restroom, Endeavor
Easier to break into Fort Knox, this creative collaborative workspace is light, bright and beautiful. The bathrooms boast of back lit mirrors, large glass doors and the cleanest countertops and floors we’ve seen.
“The Most Gruesome Potty”
Grab a gas mask from aisle six before venturing upstairs to the most gruesome bathroom in Greenville. No, that’s not a smoke bomb. It’s the natural effervescence of the Greenville Army Store. Consider yourself warned.
“The Longest Walk to the Bathroom”
Whether you're enjoying lunch at Nose Dive or experiencing a child potty emergency during TD Greenville Saturday Market, follow the yellow brick road next to the Westin Poinsett to the restrooms shared between several businesses off the heart of Main Street.
“King of the Jungle,” Hall’s Steakhouse
While both restrooms offer scented soaps and double ply hand towels, the men’s room outshines the women’s with waterfall faucet sinks.
“Winning Over The Ladies” Restroom, The Anchorage
You'll come to this great spot in the Village of West Greenville for the food, drink and atmosphere. However it's the "lady favors" like bobby pins, breath mints and Q-tips that will bring you back for more. Thanks Chef McPhee.
"Most Worthy of the Ride," Hotel Domestique
If it's good enough for 17 time Tour De France racer George Hincapie, its good enough for us. By car or bicycle you're sure to have a pleasant experience on the grounds of this beautiful European inspired hotel and restaurant.
The “Did You Get Lost In There” Restroom, Trappe Door
You may not be able to read the whole Sunday paper while in this colorful bathroom, but at least you can read the funnies! Now you have an excuse when your party asks “what took so long?”
“Most Improved Potty”
Don’t judge this book by its cover, but the City of Greenville recently updated their restroom facade into a camper’s delight (Maybe there’s no soap, but at least it’s well ventilated and the doors shut). Conveniently located at entrance of the Greenville Zoo and near the Cleveland Park Playground.
“Roost in the Spotlight”
If you have to stand up or sit down, be sure to grab a seat at Roost. Beautiful burgundy subway tile surrounds the sink area while scenes of local farms shot by photographer Heidi Heilbrunn adorn the walls.
