O-CHA tea bar
It's no secret that we have incredibly warm weather here in Greenville, SC. Soon, pedestrians will be looking for ways to beat the heat and cool down. O-CHA tea bar is conveniently located where the Swamp Rabbit Trail runs underneath Main Street. It's the absolutely perfect place to sit back and relax.

O-CHA tea bar is locally owned and run by Mallie Majarais and her husband, Mike. Mike moved to Greenville in 1994 from Toronto, Canada and Mallie is from the Clemson area. In 2004 they were looking at cities to open up a coffee and tea shop. We're thankful they chose Greenville. Now they have two beautiful kids and, of course, this adorable shop.
This is a powdered matcha tea being prepared by a traditional bamboo wooden brush, called a chasen. Matcha is green tea leaves that have been ground into a fine powder. It has the highest known antioxidants of any food or beverage. Instead of just drinking the infusion of a tea you are ingesting the entire leaf.
Next time you're downtown or on the Swamp Rabbit Trail don't pass up the opportunity to try something different. Make a point to stop in at O-CHA tea bar for a drink, meal, and some smiling faces.
