Custard Milk Recipe

Ingredients

2 Cups Milk
2 Tbsp Custard Powder (vanilla flavored)
4 Tbsp Cold Milk
3/4 Cup sugar

Instructions

How to prepare custard milk:

1. Firstly, in a thick bottomed pan add milk, cook on medium heat.
2. Stir occasionally and get the milk to boil.
3. Meanwhile, in a bowl take 2 tbsp of custard powder and add 4 tbsp of milk and mix well, make sure there are no lumps formed in it.
4. Once the milk is hot, add sugar and mix until dissolved (adjust the amount of sugar if looking for more sweeter custard).
5. Next, pour in the prepared custard mixture into it and mix continuously, keeping the flame on low (the milk changes color to yellow), furthermore, it thickens slightly (adjust the consistency by cooking for long time).
6. Let it simmer for 5 minutes on medium heat, stirring continuously.
7. Turn of the flame and let the milk cool completely.

For fruit custard:

1. Once the prepared custard milk has cooled completely, add chopped fruits of your choice. (Such as apples, bananas, grapes, pomegranate seeds, mango, etc.)
2. Cover and chill for 2 hours or more.
3. Finally, serve fruit custard chilled.

Falooda Recipe

Ingredients

2¼ Cups Water
1 Cup Sewai Vermicelli
2 Tbsp Basil Seeds 
Rose syrup for dressing and drizzling
1 Scoop Vanilla Ice Cream

Instructions

1. First, take 2 cups of water and heat it.
2. To this, add a cup of sewai (vermicelli) and cook it. Then strain the water and keep it aside.
3. Meanwhile, take another 1/4th cup of water and to this, add 2 tbsp of basil seeds. Keep it aside.
4. Now to prepare the falooda: For this, start decorating the jar by giving an inner coating of rose syrup.
5. Then add a spoonful of basil seeds and a handful of sewai.
6. Next, add a cup of cold custard milk that is prepared.
7. Now again, add the basil seeds, a little amount of cooked sewai.
8. When the falooda reaches the rim of the jar, top it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and drizzle rose syrup on it.
9. Serve the falooda cold.
