New crew, who dis?

We’re a group of 15+ food-lovin’ friends who wanted to enjoy each others’ company in a non competitive environment. It all started with Off The Grid Greenville creator Jackie Brooker and TV personality Jamarcus Gaston inviting friends to eat lunch at some of the favorite restaurants Jackie had discovered while scouting out new spots to feature. The goal was to make new friends while trying something new.

That simple goal morphed into the formation of the official #ChewCrew at our first full group lunch at Asia Pacific Grocery and Restaurant. Our meet-ups at a different restaurant each month involve tables full of gorgeous food and a dozen or more of us jockeying for the best camera angle. Behind the scenes, we’re supporting the local restaurant scene and service industry by sharing the latest info our readers and followers need to know. Especially now, as the global pandemic has created health concerns about dining practices, we’re using our combined following of 60k+ to help the community navigate these challenging times.

My most supreme food memory is sitting on the waterfront patio of Rusty Pelican for brunch. It was a full 360 vibe between the boats passing by, the ocean breeze, and a table full of flavors! Simply relaxing with Sangria in one hand and Crab Huevos Rancheros in the other. Imagine that while also keeping my eye on my next slice of Jalapeno Cornbread. Pure Bliss in my book 💕
