Gather Your Gals for Galentine’s Day

The Relationship Status-Inclusive Holiday

Whether you’re single or in a relationship or maybe not quite sure of your status this season, you can absolutely celebrate Galentine’s Day.
The not-so-official holiday, made popular by Parks and Recreation’s Leslie Knope, is a day to spend time with and celebrate with all of your gal pals.
How do you do that?

We were hoping you’d ask!
Here are our recommendations for how to have the best Galentine’s Day in Greenville.

For your foodie friends…

If you and your girlfriends prefer to bond over food with a side of sass, snag tickets to Larkin’s Galentine’s Day Drag Show brunch happening Feb. 13. Or if you have more of a sweet tooth, head over to this boozy dessert class at Plate 108 for some hands-on activities. If eating without any of the work is more your speed, take your friends to Better Than Sex - A Dessert Restaurant to have a girls’ night filled with sweet treats and laughs. The Cookie Nookie Pie and Blueberry Birthday Suit are delish.

If you prefer to celebrate a little after the holiday, you can take your crew to Foxcroft Wine Co. on Feb 16 for a four-course meal and learn all about responsible farming and the wine ecosystem.

For your “treat yo self” friends

If self-care is your game, plan a spa day with your bestie or whole crew—there are plenty of places in Greenville to get pampered. Get a fresh set of nails at Nails on the River (extra points if you get festive holiday nails), book a couples massage with your closest friend at Oase Day Spa, or get a facial at River Falls Spa.

For your shopaholic friends…

Makers Collective is having a Valentine Pop Up Shop Feb. 11-13 so you and your girl crew can shop ’til you drop. Click here to see all of the participating makers.

Not into your typical flower arrangements? Take your girls to pick out a new houseplant (or two, or three) from Savereign, Sun and Soil Plant Parlor, or Botanical Brew.

If you love to host…

You don’t have to celebrate Galentine’s Day by going to a million different places. Instead, host the perfect Galentine’s Day bash in your home with the right ingredients. Pick up a sweet cake from Strossner’s Bakery, a few bottles of rosé from Wine House, and some meats, cheeses, and fruit from Swamp Rabbit Cafe and Grocery.

If you truly want to be the hostess with the most-est, keep it simple for all involved (stressing about any of this is not cute) and order some takeout from a place you and your friends all love…it’s no secret that Pita House is one of our faves—don’t forget the cash.

Now you have a recipe for a great Galen-time! 🥰
